Depending on the miles on the car you might what to think about the throw out bearing and pilot bearing and also while youre there the rear main seal

thanks, 80k atm. i was going 2 replace the throwout bearing, and il order the pilot as well. the rear main is not leaking rite now and i think u need 2 have a special tool 2 install the new seal. i dnt want 2 cause problems but maybe i can install a new seal without the tool.

im not going to replace mine when i do a clutch in fear i would replace it and then it will start to leak... i think a rear main is a hit and miss to be honest... i dont drive my car that often so if it does start to leak i can fix it before it soaks my clutch... i wouldnt worry about it OP but you def want to ATLEAST resurfce the fly wheel but i would replace it if you some extra cash just to be safe and not have to worry about shimming thats just my opinion though

trans is almost out just having trouble getting at the top bellhousing bolts. and im doing all this on the ground with jacks outside in the snow. i am planning on geting the flywheel resurfaced but i still need to look at its condition. most likely il leave the rear main alone

the factory flywheel can only be resurfaced once after that it needs to be replaced, and i would not reuse a factory flywheel with any more then a bolt-on car (not including heads and cam) the slave is as shitty as can be and should be replaced every time the clutch is replaced. also a new adjustable master cylinder (like tick performance adjustable one) if u really wanted some nice glitch free shifting.

so while the trans is out i should do the throwout bearing, the pilot bearing, the slave and master, and the rear main. and i have 2 get special tool j 41479 for the rear main and from wat i read a special tool for the pilot bearing aswell. ne1 now wat special tool i need for the pilot bearing? everything else i should b able 2 do without special tools besides a clutch alignment tool 4 the clutch

If you don't already have one, I would recommend a slave extension to help bleeding when you bolt it back up. It replaces the bleed screw with a line that you tie off at the fuel rail. When you need to bleed, the line is right there. There's a sponsor here that sells them - it is awesome.

ya i see one on tickperformance for 50 bucks. i realy am running out of money at this point id love 2 have it. all together i have ordered a centerforce clutch, an original slave cylinder and throwout bearing, and rear main seal. and believe me i hate the flawed shifting on high rpms and would love the tick performance master but 300 is to much. this is my 3rd ls1 im used 2 waiting a second for 3rd to go in on high rpm shifts. its an everyday driver so its rare when im beating on it neways. id much rather spend 300 on a ls6 intake manifold.

Do the Drill Mod and install a Remote Bleeder..takes me about 2 min to fully bleed my setup.
