Reliable clutch who makes the most reliable clutch that will handle over 600 ft lbs for lt1s? i have a spec 3 but its starting to slip and it hasnt been in there that long.
Elky, we offer a number of stages and I am happy to provide a recommendation if you can let me know a bit more about the car. Are you making 600 at the wheels or the crank? You mentioned above that it is a daily driver, so I assume that you would rather have something that has smoother engagement for street use. Though our stage 3 is rated to handle your torque if it is slipped in an effort to induce smoothness it will wear faster than other full-faced discs like our Stage 3+ or even our Hybrid Stage 2+. eventually it will be to the wheels. im thinking of going with another spec 3. im already talkinh with ws6 store about it. im pretty sure it just got oil on it. the bottom of the car is pretty coated

Contamination can certainly cause a clutch to slip. Whatever you decide make sure that the leak is stopped and the bell-housing cleaned before installing a new kit. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks,

I had the stage 2 spec in for years. just finally got to the point of where it needs replaced now. I going with a stage 3+. great reviews for this clutch and from what people tell me, very driveable on the street with lots of grip.
