which Monster clutch is right for my set up
I know you have had this question before so sorry to the people that get pissed off.
I cant decide between the stage 2 or 3. Im buying the clutch tonight cause mine is slipping like a bitch.
My dyno numbers are at the bottom with current mods. Future mods do include 228R cam hopefully heads 2.5 5.3 heads. FAST Intake.
I dont plan on going much more then 420 RWTQ & HP.
Now major concerns for me are life of the clutch, easy pedal ( like stock feel )
and i dont want a bunch of chatter. ( I know it will chatter for the first 1000 miles or so ). Any help would be awesome.
Thanks guys

Have you gone on Monster's site and read the description of their clutches? That should enable you to decide. Simply, if you go to the track and do a lot of hi-rev launches, you'll definitely want the 3. If you are mostly on the street, some roll racing, with maybe a couple of trips to the track a year, level 2 will be fine for your planned power - and last longer.

It sounds like you'd probably be ok with the stage 2 but you'll definitely be ok with the stage 3. Having a little more clutch than you need isn't necessarily a bad thing and the stage 3 is the most popular clutch I sell and install because it drives very nicely, yet holds like a ****. I'd also recommend upgrading your master cylinder to a tick performance master. This will slightly increase the pedal pressure, but not enough to offset the gains you'll see from it. By adding tick you'll improve the "feel" of the clutch so it'll actually make driving easier since you know when the clutch starts to engage, and you'll move more fluid through the system which diminishes the chances of the fluid boiling and the pedal sticking to the floor.
I can help you out with what you need for this setup if you'd like. I'm also offering a free speed bleeder with the clutch kit purchase and free shipping if you buy a clutch kit and tick master.
