Default Reverse slips

1995 Firebird formula V8 M6 stock everything.

When I put my car in reverse it kicks it out really hard. Doesnt always happen. it only happens in reverse and its been doing this for a couple of months now. anyone have any ideas? and thank you for any and all responses.

When the shifter kicks out of any gear is usually due to broken or worn fork pads. That would be my first guess.
