Default Help, oil behind pilot bearing

I pulled my pilot bearing today. There was a puddle of oil and PB Blaster behind it. My clutch was destroyed by oil and this must be where it was coming from.
I could not feel a gap anywhere around the plug. What can I put in there to seal this plug up ?

Clean the area with brake cleaner and use some epoxy like JB weld, etc around the plug.

I found a rubber plug in my fastener stash that is 1.102" in Dia. and 1/4" thick. I put RTV blue ultra around it and pushed it against the steel plug. The pilot bearing is 1.092" in Dia. so this plug fits really well. I'm going to trust it.
