Default 5 speed man and about moving to 6 speed

I been drove 5 speed my whole life, but never drove 6 speed 4th gen before, the way I the diagram on the manual, revert is right next to 5th gear, and six gear is down from 5th gear, my only concern that I might hit revert gear when try to go 5th. its possible or does it have a safety where you cant shift to revert when going to 5th. Thanks

I was also a long time M5 driver I just made the switch to the M6 a couple weeks ago and haven't had any problems. I have seen some guys on high speed runs miss 5th and try to go into R all that happens is your backup lights will flash for a sec and you might grind but it will never let you go in.
