Hurst Shifter

Hurst Shifter My Hurst shifter seems to have a hard time sliding into 3 when your really getting into it. Is there a reason for this or is it just the shifter. If so what would be a good up grade?
I just drove my car with my B&M ripper installed and it was AWESOME! Huge upgrade from stock, if your referring to the stock hurst. I had the same problem with my car when I first got it with an aftermarket hurst shifter. It felt like the springs wernt centering it back into the 3rd/4th slot when it was in neutral. I tried replacing the springs but that was kind of a mess...? I would always hit the gate between 1st and 3rd when I would try to get it into 3rd. With all that said.....with my new shifter I got rubber into 3rd yesterday 
My only regret is that I didnt get it sooner. I think someone has one in the for sale section for $100 or something like that, a smokin deal.
