9 times out of 10, a stuck gear is from a broken synchro key. On 3-4 it can also be a bent/broken shift fork.

Not much to do other than pull the trans and tear into it..

Do 10 WOT clutch drops and see if that helps.

But seriously, its a key problem. The trans will have to come out. While your at it D&D sells the upgraded 3-4 steel clutch fork for $44 dollars

Yep, you more than likely bent the shift keys. Kick it out of gear and finish off the keys. They will break completely and fall to the bottom of the transmission.

Haha sounds like a bad idea, the thing that sucks is i just had the tranny out about a month ago putting a clutch in, not looking forward to having to pull it again.

I would guess a broken slider key. It will pop out and drive like theres nothing wrong-- dont be fooled by that. The trans needs to be torn down before it causes a chain reaction of broken parts

Yeah mine got stuck in fourth making a pull on the interstate last year, drove my buddy the rest of the way to his place then got back on the interstate and then on to another highway(about 10 miles or so) and it popped right out of gear.

Just thought i would tell ya.

mine did the same thing but I couldnt kick it out of gear for nothing apparently the rod that the shifter bolts to snaped. Most likely a shift fork though

x2. Had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks after I got my car. Broken key was wedged, preventing it from coming out of gear. Time for a rebuild.

Hell at least yall went in a gear cause mine wouldn't go into none without a hitting and forcing the shifter into it but it's at my tuners shop. I'll be doing the viper upgrade long story short.
