So I finally got done braking in my brand new spec 2+ clutch with the tick adjustable master cylinder and my awsome new strange dana 60 car was driving great, Im getting all pumped and ready to put my turbo in untill 2 nights ago finally tried banging through the gears and BAM! got stuck in 3rd so after The worse feeling ever I was able to pull it out of gear and baby it home, same thing happened to a friend of mine with a 02 TA not too long ago ended up beeing bent 3-4 shift fork and destroyed syncro assembly. Got a local shop that will rebuild it for a descent price need suggestions on a good rebuild kit for the t56, something good for 500-550 rwhp.

Get a "stage2" or equivilent parts and you should be good..

- Steel 3-4 fork
- Bronze fork pads on every fork
- Billet synchro keys on 3-4, 1-2, 5-6 in order of importance
- New Blocker ring set

I wouldn't order new synchros or anything else until the trans is torn down and inspected.

ok thanks for the input I was looking at the tick stage 2 package....it comes with the new syncros. The trans has 80k on it so I might replace them anyway

Like Mike said the syncros could be fine. If so it could be money put elsewhere.
