Default Tuet2060?

ive come across a deal i hope will work. im V8 swapping my s-10 (LM7 5.3) and I was wondering will the tuet2060 (03-04 SVT) will convert to my LS bellhousing. i know ill need an input shaft and a bellhousing and the slave cyl mount but thats fine i just wanna make sure it will work

This is the cobra T56 i believe. It should work with a LS1 Fbody input shaft, mid-plate, bellhousing. It has a different tail housing, but you'll have to customize the cross-member for the S10 anyway.. GM T5 or mustang square-base shifters should fit. You'll need the ford slip-yoke and adjust your driveshaft length. Speedo pickup will need converted.

As a cautionary check, a guy over on thirdgen.org is putting one behind a SBC with the T56 adapter plate. He found that the cobra T56 was clocked differently causing a passenger side tilt of the shifter. Not sure how much of that will change with the mid-plate and how much of it was in the tailhousing. He kept the cobra mid-plate since the adapter plate covered it all anyway.... YMMV

ya i see what your saying. if its clocked do you think i might have clearance issues? like firewall and/or driveshaft tunnel
