Default will a t56 fit in the trunk of an F-body?

I need to go pick up a t56, wondering if I can fit it in my trunk. It will have no bellhousing on it and I can take my ttop holders out, thoughts?

Yes.
Ideally, you would find a plastic tub to put it in to prevent leaks and interior damage.

Yes. And an LS1 block sits nice in the back seat.

I did that to transport a differential over 1000 miles. The Kansas trooper that stopped me told me that carrying as many wheels in the backseat as I had behind me wasn't safe too.
