Is it a good clutch for a 450 whp Fbody?

If you visit the track much I would say no but if it's just for the street I would say it's fine.

For a car that only really sees street use (occasional track use, no hot lapping, ect) the LS7 would be fine. If its going to be going to the track a lot, or it will be heavily abused, go with something more race oriented.

Spirited street driving is all its going to see. One or 2 trips to the track.

I make 383 to the tire, so about 430 crank and my LS7 clutch has been holding up fine. Break in is kinda strange as the pedal will be damn near on the floor when it dis-engages until it's broke in.

DON'T get the clutch hot, it will go away. I found that out at the track once. Went to slam 2nd and hm..no clutch. I started pulling over thinking I broke something and about 5 seconds later it came back and I just putted down the track. It's been fine ever since though.
