2nd to 3rd grinds, but only when cold
So i just bought a z28 m6 and didn't really notice it at first, but lately it's been pretty consistent that it will grind a little bit going from 2nd to 3rd.(clutch is completely pressed in) It will go in, just grinds. It only does it when it's cold, once the car has been warmed up and grinded a few times it completely goes away. Could it just be the transmission fluid? Car has 125k..
I have never driven a 6spd ls1 before and i should also mention that there is a lot of vibration in the clutch. I can only really feel it at 2500+ RPMS, not so much down lower. Not really sure if this was normal or not...

Vibration is typically a sign of something being out of balance. Could be the clutch itself, or something else in the driveline, such as the driveshaft. It should be relatively smooth (no noticeable vibrations) especially with stock mounts.

bump..any other thoughts? I wish i could explain it better. It really only does it maybe 2 times, and only if i let the RPMS get above 2k before i shift. If i shift slowly and keep the RPMS down it won't grind even when it's cold. But once i shift it a few times, it goes in just find no matter what RPM i'm at.
As far as the clutch, like i said it doesn't do it until the RPMS are up. This seems to be when all my problems arise. It's like a tingling sensation it gives to my foot..
