I just got done installing my monster stage three clutch and my quicktime bellhousing on my 2000 z28. when I went to put the trans in i get it to about 1/2 in away from the bellhousing. The dowels are about to touch the bellhousing but cant get it any closer. Anyone have this problem?

Yeah, what i did was i got a couple longer bolt for the tranny to the bellhousing, got them to catch threads and just torqued it down evenly till they almost met up, then took them out and put the stock one's in. Hope that helps! Its a badass clutch by the way i got the same one and i love it!!!
