Default M29 transmission on an LSX motor?

I currently have an lt1 motor from a 93 Camaro with an m29 transmission in an 86 rx7, but i'm looking to convert to an lsx setup. I'm just curious if anyone has run an m29 trans on an lsx motor yet, and if so what was required to make it work? Thanks for your time guys.

it would be the same principal as using any LT1 trans on an LS1.

the only difference is the gear ratios

Yup.. FWIW, with your lighter weight, a MM6 ratio LS1 trans would be a better fit anyway.. Consider just selling the LT1 trans with the motor and picking up a regular Fbody LS1 T56.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into that.
