What to do with trans?
Ok so I'm collecting what I need to do my D1SC build and I'm not sure what to do with my T-56.
So i'll be running 8psi on the stock block so I'm looking at right about 500rwph and hopefully 11's.
Now what do you guys think? Will I need a rebuild or should I be ok stock? It doesnt grind, it shifts fine and I havnt missed very many shifts.
Now how about the clutch and flywheel? I'll be driving this car on the street now and then (nice days/weekends) Under 5k a year so being streetable isnt all that important (just got a 12 bolt with a spool anyway). Now when I do take it to the track I want it to be really solid.
I was thinking monster but which would be best? (open to other brand suggestions too). I think I'm gonna go with a tick master but what about the flywheel?
Little help?
Thanks guys.

Build your trans as strong as you have money for, and then some. You'll be glad you did.
My RPM Level V is working well for me.

anyway, tick recommends the viper shaft modifications for cars making over 600rwtq. I think you could get away with leaving it alone for a while, but in the future some basic upgrades are a good idea, especially since you're going to be shifting it hard.

"Stages" of rebuild are nothing more than a marketing tactic. Each builder has their own unique labeling of their units and whats included in the rebuild. I've found over the years, customers need a small selection of choices or "packages". If you give too many different options, 99% of them get confused.
