4th might be bad and loss of play so i was racing this weekend and in my last run a toped out at 5000 in 4th and when i try to **** out out of 4th it was stuck in till the end of the track i was able to get into 1st and let it sit after that still could not get into 4th at all and i lost a lot off free play with the shifter so i took it home most of the ride i could not get into gears well with still no free play with the shifter but as i got home it started to free up and get into 4th any ideas whats up just got it to hot ?

Search and you'll find that the LS1 hydraulics suffer from a line restriction and any moisture in the fluid will boil under heat. Flush the hyds with good hyd fluid and perform the drill mod while you have it apart. Protect your hyd line from heat/exhaust exposure and you should be good to go.
