98Z T56 swap reverse lockout not working.
Hello everyone. Loving this T56. Only problem is I tried to hook up the reverse lockout since I'm about to pull my shoulder out of socket trying to get it in reverse. We swapped the number 61 or 62, can't remember, pin into the number 42 position. It was a red wire. Problem is, it doesn't work. I hooked one wire from the reverse lockout into the red wire coming off the 20 pin auto connector and the other end into one of the pink rear o2 wires. If I leave the pink wire hooked up and ground the other wire I can hear it working. But when hooked to the red wire, it does nothing. What did I do wrong?

My tuner said he uploaded a tune from a 98 berger camaro. He said that those came with 3.73 gears and a t56. I assume he knows what he's doing. Nothing else cut on. No codes and the speedo is right now.

Pin 42 on C1 (red) PCM connector is the reverse inhibit control. This need too be connected to the lockout solenoid and it grounds it when the vehicle speed is less than 3 mph or whatever it's set in the tune. The other wire is 12v ignition, which you did.
Check it with an electric tester, connected across the solenoid connector it should light with the ignition on.
