Default quick clutch question

a while back i read on this forum that the 01' t56 is epuipped with an ls7 clutch. im talkin to a guy right now about trading for his automatic and used the information that i have the factory ls7 clutch under the impression that i read it in a sticky somewhere on here. he now thinks im trying to bullshit him. so what type of clutch came from the factory in my 01' trans am with a t56.

thanks

I have never heard of 01 cars coming with an ls7 clutch. I know the clutch I pulled out of my 02 Z28 was DEFINITELY NOT an LS7 clutch....plan ol' ls1 one haha.

Anyway, I think the LS7 was introduced in the corvette in 2006.
