Question Manual Transmission People

I can't get any response in the truck section, I guess they all drive automatics so I thought I would try here. I have an 01 Silverado with a T56 trans. My problem is the clutch pedal is to close to the floor for disengagement. I know Mcleod makes a master cylinder for the cars that flows more and this changes the engagement further up but they don't have one for the trucks. Any suggestions?

It doesn't flow anymore fluid.
It has the same bore as the stock one.
What master are you using now?
and did you put in the LS1 or LT1 tranny?

I put in the LS1 trans. (2000 model). According to tech at Mcleod he talked like the bore of his mastercylinders used on the cars had a 1/16 larger bore and they moved more fluid.

Well lets forget about moving fluid and bore diameters, what does it take to change the position of your pedal to engage and disengage the clutch?

Your master cylinder is low on fluid or has air in it or both. Just add more fluid; I had the same problem and that fixed it once the air worked it's way out. I was too lazy to bleed it.
