T56 reverse light conector?
T56 reverse light conector? My buddy and I just did a trans swap. He now has my A4 in his former T56 car. I have read how to get my reverse lights to work but, now i need to get his woking. Is the conector that plugs into the T56 to make the reverse lights come on in his interior harness? Also while i'm asking. How do i get his cruse control to work? We conected the clutch saftey switch wires together to get the car to start, now i just need to fix his cruse control.

I am not too sure about the connector being the same fr the reverse lights, you should have one that you cut off yours correct?? As for the cruuise control it should be plug and play the only thing is the former t56 car will have a y jumper that will go to cruise control switches on both the clutch and the brake and of course the auto only has one. Where the plug into the pedals if you trace it back another ~12 inches there will be another connector. Swap those harnesses and you should be in business with no splicing.
Cruise should work no matter what. If you haven't fixed the PCM thats probably why. I have nothing wired to my T56 except the two wires together so it will start and my cruise works perfectly.
