Might want to poke your head in over on www.thirdgen.org. The thirdgen fbody came stock with 1st and 2nd gen SBC's and T5.

The problem with the Camaro T5 is that they are rotated over a little bit so it requires some creative fabricating or possibly buy a crossmember design for it. You want to look for a 1988-1992 V8 F body T5.

into what car?

If you go with a V8 88-92 F-body T5,
for mechanical clutch release, get an 83 Camaro bellhousing (tilted 17 degrees) and for hydraulic, you could go 84-92 Camaro bellhousing (tilted also.)

Or Lakewood makes scattershields for either option that have both the tilted and straight up trans. patterns.

All those have a fork that points down a little bit (7:30 instead of 9:00)
