Exclamation 2000 T/A T56 mobil 1 synthetic? Please Help

Hey everyone, i have another question.
I have a 2000 trans am with the t56 six speed. stage 2 ram HD clutch and short throw shifter are the only upgrades to my knowledge. I was going to change out my tranny fluid but have heard a million different things on what to put. Again it is a 2000 T56 currently running mobil 1 synthetic atf. I was gonna change it out and put that back in. but i have read that 2000 and older have paper blocker rings and synthetic will break them down. is this true or is it safe to run mobil 1 syn dexron III in my 2000? if i shouldnt run syn what should i run? Please help, Im new to a lot of this becuase my last T/A I only had for 18k miles and it was stock so i never worried about anything. Lost my job, dont want a broken car now too. I can give more info on the car if needed.
Thanks

If it's running with M1 ATF now, it's ok to replace it back. I wouldn't recommend it in a high-millage unit that's never used Synth. before, but I do recommend it for new rebuilds after the 500mi break-in..

so the tranny has a stage two build from tick performance and it lists that it has carbon fiber blocker rings so i guess im okay with M1 syn.

* Bronze 1-4 Fork Pads
* OEM 5-6 & Reverse Fork Pads
* Billet 3-4 Synchronizer Keys (with upgraded springs)
* New OEM 1-2, 5-6 & Reverse Keys & Springs
* Carbon Fiber Synchronizer (blocker) Rings
* Steel 3-4 Shift Fork
* New 1-2 Synchronizer Assembly
* New 3-4 Synchronizer Assembly
* New Front Seal
* New Rear Seal
