Default clutch help please..

hey guys just picked up a 01 z about a month ago and it has a monster stage 3 with a billet 18lb fly..all has about 600 miles on it and it feels ok for the most part but when im at a stop or going from reverse to 1st it makes a sound like a old wood cabinet door sound...or old stair sound from scary movies..lol only way i can describe it

only does it in 1st every other gear when driving is fine..grabs nice but that just aint right..thanks everyone.

Sounds like you are getting the typical squeal that people are getting with these clutches. Mine does the same thing. Everyone says to go beat on it a little and the squeal should go away. Also, avoid slipping the clutch if at all possible.

Oh wow they just do that huh. That sucks. Might just take it out and sell it then. Thanks for that info

Do you like the clutch other than the squeal? Give it some time and get it broken in good. Go beat on it a little and see if the squeal goes away.

It's ok not a fan of it to be honest. Plus not sure if i can live with the sound if it stays
