Default Replaced master & slave

I replaced my master cylinder about a month ago with an 01+ MC with drill mod, and yesterday replaced my slave with a new GM slave.

I starting bleeding the **** out of the clutch today with not much success. Clutch engages fairly close to the floor, hard to get into 1st gear after depressing clutch, "car seems want to jump forward slightly when going into first", and it engages very quickly.

These problems are nothing new, I've been having them for a while. I changed the master, I changed the slave, I bled the system (pump pedal, hold down pedal, crack bleeder, keep resevoir full). What's the deal?

squeeze the line from the reservoir to master a few times, flick the master to slave line, keep bleeding and bleeding, try mightyvac

it's a PIA to get the air out of these systems. I have better luck completely bleeding the master first before attaching it to the slave, and then bleeding that
