Is it hard to get into first or reverse from a dead stop? Put the car on a nice smooth surface in first with the clutch in and rev the car. If it creeps forward, its dragging.

Sounds like the pedal needs to come up a little but make sure the system is bled well first. A little air will do the same thing. After bleeding if you still have the same problem, then adjust the pedal. The guys at Monster can give you precise instructions on the process so you dont mess up the clutch or slave.

Mine is hard to get into reverse too. it won't move for the rev test either. Is this something that I should take it to the place it was installed and make them bleed it for free?

Re Bleed, Do a Gravity bleed and have a helper. Adjusting it out helps too if you have not maxed it out.

my car has been hard to get into gear & i've replaced everything & bled the hydraulics more times than i care to count. current setup is Tick Level 2 tranny build, Tick master & speed bleeder, Monster Level 3 premium kit, DOT 4 fluid. in my opinion the car shifts like **** & is hard to get into 1st & reverse most of the time. like BlackScreaminMachine, my car will lurch a very small amount when putting it in gear, but when i rev it with the clutch depressed, it dont even try to move. i've adjusted the master cylinder several times with no change. the only thing that hasnt been changed is the transmission. with less than 5k on the rebuild, it better not be screwed up yet. i've contacted Tick several times regarding the issue & all i heard was bleed the clutch & put a Monster level 3 in. well now i have my perfectly good Cartek Level 8 sitting in a box & am out whatever it was for the Monster & still no luck. sorry for the rant, just disgusted right now. also wanted to add that along with the issue of the car not wanting to go into gear easily, when i am at the track slowing down from a run, when i push the clutch in it stays low & i slowly have to pump it to get the pedal back, what gives with that?
