Monte SS T56 Question
I'm swapping in an LQ4 T56 into my monte SS
My question is this...I bought a 98 fbody T56 complete with the pedals, flywheel
clutch, all the hydraulic linkage..
Are there any parts that wont swap over? pedals? or linkage?
My driveshaft is from my old 700r4, It's the same length as the T56?
Any help with links or anything is greatly appreciated?
BTW....I saw John Bdzel's site

Your questions are more Monte Carlo specific, not T56 specific. You might have better luck on the MC forums or the conversions&hybrid forum (https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids-28/)

The swap shouldn't be too much of a hassel. You will need to come up with a crossmember and figure out a way to modify the pedal assembly. I cannot think of any cars like yours that came with a standard in them but pedals from a mid 80's F body might work.

A cancellation of a Malibu export program left some of those in Canada.
By the same token, the F-body pedals can be heavily modified (depending on your definition) to fit the 78-up A/G-body firewall. The fuseblock is in a stupid location.
