I am also having the exact same issues in my 01 ws6 with stock engine. I have a fully built T56 with the LS7 clutch and the trans build has 38k miles daily driver and a dozen track passes on street tires, the ls7 clutch has 32k miles which is incredible i think. I installed a new GM slave and did drill mod when ls7 kit went in, but for a month now i get a scary rumble mixed with what sounds like flywheel tapping the starter motor gear and its when I leave somewhere and soon as im at operating temp it starts the noise when I put the clutch pedal down when im about at a dead stop, it will mostly go away if I pull it in neutral but soon as I put it in 1st gear it starts doing it and I hear it a little shifting to 2nd, or in 2nd when im idling also.
