Ordering mine today & installing after the first of the year. Finally, after wanting one of these forever its finally gonna happen, LOL. I'm so tired of using my toes to pull the clutch pedal off the floor & then having to pump it to get it in gear while pulling out in traffic.

When this goes in so does fresh hydrolic fluid, tranny fluid & my 5.0 shifter I have been waiting to put in as well. Should drive like a new car again finally.

I've had my Tick MC for about a month but yesterday was the first 50* day this year. Took myself and a buddy 1.5 hours from start to bleed and adjustment. Very easy install. Also, after a few miles, another adjustment, and remembering to remove the clutch pedal spring the whole system works like butter. I am very impressed. By far, this mod has changed the way this car drives more than any other that I've done. Thanks Tick!

Got mine in and love it.
How much pedal movement is typical to disengage the clutch? I only have about 1" right now as it is set. I was thinking I might need to back it off some.

Will your master work with an LT1 slave? There never seemed to be much in the way of an aftermarket master/slave for the LT1. Is it not necessary or just no one make it?

LT1 and LS1 master cylinders are the same, they just have different lines going to the slave IIRC. I'm running an adjustable ram LS1 master cylinder in my car without any issues.

Joey - I love mine too.

It's nice to just bump the clutch pedal @ WOT and know it's going to work.

I have 200 miles on the Stage 2 trans and Tick master, everything is great. Dont forget to remove pedal spring. Pedal feel is perfect. I cannot wait to get 400 miles on her to see how she shifts at high rpm. Shipping seemed instant and customer service was awesome. Now Im going to have to put one in my buddies Goat!

Edit: Speedbleeder is sooooo worth it!

I love our Tick Master Cylinder!!

I installed it in my wife's cam/full bolt ons WS6, and the feel was night and day, even with the stock clutch! The pedal is firm, but still very driveable. Theres also no wasted space in the pedal travel. Took minutes to install, and not much longer to adjust! I cant wait to use it again, when the car goes back together with more power and a better clutch!

We have a kit specifically for the LT1 F-Bodies. It is similar to the LS1 kit, but is indeed different. See here: http://www.tickperformance.com/produ...%252dBody.html

One day I shall get the epic tick master that I have heard so much about :p. For now my dorman works as it should, but I guarantee you when the time comes to replace it, I'll be going tick!

From Daniel, a customer from Lynchburg VA who we recently did a T56 Rebuild & Monster Clutch Swap for: "Joey, just wanted to thank you and the guys who worked on my car. They did an excellent job. The trans feels great, and I do love the new Monster clutch WAY better than RAM. It was money well spent and I’m glad I got it, good recommendation, I’m a believer. With your hydraulics the pedal feels better, and the monster clutch engages smoothly with no chatter on take-off. There’s a huge difference and the car is easier to drive. Great job, I appreciate everything. Keep doing good work, I’ll give you a call if I need anything."
