I came up with 1.975 from the transmission to the slave with no spring. From the bellhousing to the pressure plate fingers I came up with 2.235. 2.235 - 1.975 = .26". I added a .115" shim I had laying around. I probably could have ran it at .26" gap but after having pressure plate problems with the LS7 clutch I decided to get it tightened up.

Mcleod recommends .100-.200" gap http://www.mcleodracing.com/info/?id=5260 This thing is awesome so far, no chatter at all! Way nicer than my friends stage 3 monster he just put in with the tick master. His pedal is fairly stiff too compared to mine.
