What does a throwout bearing look like?
Just received Spec Stage 3 clutch and new GM Hydraulics from Matt at TTP Performance...
Call me dumb, but I have no clue what the bearing looks like. I have a little bearing on the end of the alignment tool. It's about the diameter of a quarter and about an inch thick. It this it?
By the way, if you want this clutch.. Matt is the guy to talk to. Great Customer Service...

The bearing on the end of the alignment tool is the pilot bearing. Their should be another bearing in the kit, this would be your throwout. If you got a new GM slave it should already be on it, and you wont even need the throwout that came with the kit, just bolt your slave in. Their will be a large spring coming off the slave and on the end their should be a bearing, about the size of the inside diameter of the slave, this will be the throwout. I hope all that makes sense.
