im looking to get a 2000-2002 trans am and i want a different shifter on it. i like the look of the "H" hurst **** but what is the best shifter out there? and tell me some pros and cons about short throws. ive driven a short throw 03 z06 and its fun but it takes some of the fun feeling out of driving a 6speed. give me your thoughts. thanks

 

Pro 5.0 has never let me down. MGW though has the most positive comments I've seen in the threads I searched for.

 

MGW! Great up grade. I had a hurst before this one. MGW is much better

 

hurst billet, the guy that has the record for the fastest 6spd f-body runs it, so its good enough for me lol
