Need help with tranny install
Need help with tranny install Ok so over the winter I bought a 9 inch and I am currently swapping the 4l60 to a T56. I didn't have any problems with the swap until trying to get the tranny bolted to the bellhousing. It seems like the driver side dowel is close to flush but then the pass side will be like 1/8 inch away from bell housing. I was able to get 1 bolt started but none of the other would line up, it almost looked like the trans had to be rotated to get most of the other in. Anyone have this problem or know any ideas to try?
It's honestly just a pain to get it lined up. Mine took forever to reinstall and I had to put it in and take it back down many times, sucks, but you'll find it's pretty much the consensus decision around here. More than likely you're not doing anything wrong
