there is a solenoid you can buy at radio shack, i did it and it works, cant beat .98 cents for a mod. Just search CAGS and you'll find a write up somewhere.

If you still need one give me a call. We have boxes of them. You don't really need it. I would just find a plug that matches the thread pitch and plug the hole.

wat the hell its for anyway ? i saw that light pop up every time i shift to second gear. it scare me cause everytime that light pop up, made me think check engine light, but i think im kinda get use to it, but still lol

If your car doesnt do anything when the light comes on then someone has put a skipshift delete harness in your car. Originally it will force you to shift into 4th gear instead of 2nd at low speeds. It is a fuel economy deal. And a complete pain in the rear.

I guest some one put skipshift thing, cause i shift 1-2-3-4-5-6 normal without having any problem.

BTW wat u mean by force u to shift into 4 ? I talk to my friend one time about that, and he say shift into 4th or something, i try and it bog down so bad.

That's what I did. I haven't had a CAGS solenoid for years, no reason to waste money on it.

with shiftskip mod, its still ok to shift from first to 4th gear when that shift light pop up ? tbh try to save some gas lately ^^

Shifting from 1st to 4th will wear the clutch a little more, but other than that I can't see any other problems.
