C5 Shifter Questions and Pic Request I had just a few questions about available shifter options for the C5 Corvette.
1. I feel that the throw is probably short enough on the factory shifter. Is there a shortened handle that is available like there is for the F-bodies?
2. What are the thread dimensions for the Corvettes? Is it the same as for the F-bodies, meaning that the shift ***** are interchangeable.
3. What are the available options? I know so far of: Kirbain, 6shooter, MGW, C6 shifter, B&M and Hurst, are there any others I am forgetting?
Also, if anybody has pics of their aftermarket shifters installed it would be greatly appreciated. I tried doing a google search for different pics, but to no avail. I am really just looking for one with a shorter shifter handle.
