Default 93 M28/M29 SWAP to a M6 94-97?? Possible?

Hey quys I have a 93, soon to be a 93turboLT1 and I have a somewhat weak-er T-56 then the usual F-body. Its the M29, rated at 400lbs of torque compared to the M6 's 450, and improved ratio's. I've had my experiences with a M28 (lost 5-6, then 4, and....well 1st is about all that was left) then a M29, stronger one of the two, and i'm already having noises and troubles with 4th. I have the Spec stage 2, and need a M6 before the clutch blows my M29 to He!!. IS it Possible, or are the lengths, hookups different??

It's a direct swap. IMO, the later transmissions aren't much stronger.

Well sweet, thats good news, hopin there cheaper too, since they made them for three years instead of one. Wonder why they did that?
