Default Bronze or nylon fork pads?

:confused I'm in the process of reassembling my t-56, and in the process of looking for some clarification on the shift rail setup, I ran across an article out of camaro performers magazine about the build on a tranzilla. The company that builds them does not use bronze fork pads, but nylon stockers instead. They showed a picture of a set of bronze pads after one track session, and they looked pretty rough. I was going to use bronze pads, but am having second thoughts. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Bronze will compress but not crack.
Stock will crack but doesn't wear as much as bronze will compress.
I've seen 5-6 shift issues due to cracked pads and would consider them there strongly.

Not sure about vespel.

Thats why I ordered bronze, the stockers on the 5/6 fork disintegrated, and let the synchro bear against it, wearing it to a nice knife edge.

I went bronze for the same reason, I saw the nylon were wearing through pretty badly and decided to upgrade.

Bronze pads are the ONLY way to go in a performance application. I will never understand why Rockland doesn't like bronze pads. We have had transmissions come back for a refresh after YEARS of abuse and had little to no major wear on the bronze fork pads. They were very reusable.
