Close ratio + 5th-6th gear delete T56?

Wow seems more complicated than I thought, not that machining spacers would be a problem for me. It's not only because its 5lbs tho, inertial mass + frictions between gears etc. Guess it's just crazy for most but as long as it don't require parts I need to buy (machining is free) than why not?
Anyway, it's fun to give out ideas but the T56 was not on the top of my option list. As of right now (considering a rebuilt muncie handle the torque no problem) it's more like 1)Muncie 2)Bmw trans 3)TKO-600 RR 4)(and one of the last) Some T56 frankenstein setup.
As of right now the only worry with the muncie is what paddock driving would be like with a close to 80mph 1st gear and very lightweight flywheel/clutch setup. I'd like the 4th gear just a tad shorter but with the price estimated earlier and the 50lbs (over TKO and bmw, 75lbs with T56) reduction and use of off the shelf parts only kinda make it up for that!
Thanks for inputs everyone, it's always fun to brainstorm about unusual stuff

Get a used Muncie with 1" countershaft in any condition. You'll reuse the tail, midplate, countershaft (shaft only), side cover, shifter forks, and other misc parts.
Buy a supercase, that eliminates the boken ear and cotershaft front hole issues.
Get yourself a st of 26 input spline M22 rockcrusher gear set and a rebuild kit.
Somw places sett an iron midplate (about $50) and upgraded tail, but these are typically not problem areas. You can mate the 26 spline input to an LS1,2,6,7 clutch/flywheel and LS7 pilot bearing in a BBC 621 bell housing. Keisler sells a 621 housing with the extra LS bolt hole.
You can do it with a 10 spline input using a Sachs 1050 flywheel and a 1970 11" BBC clutch.

Just took a look at parts and stuff and this really seems like a killer deal over any other options! Heck even that super case looks awesome! Just wondering how the shifter location is compared to a T56.
Now just wondering they seem to offer 153tooth flywheel package and 168 tooth flywheel package. Every standard bellhousing says 168t and standard ls starter. Is there anything special needed to run a 153 tooth flywheel? (5.3l L33 block)

Well guess I have to get their rear-mount package then if I want that clutch! Just emaild them to see if this will fit the 4-speed to LS block, but if pictures are good... bellhousing looks alike and hopefully it works. Figured about 1k for a clutch setup add up a TOB and a bellhousing and it ends up about same price anyway.

I could but not many offer a very lightweight option (smaller than oem clutch) at affordable price with 168 tooth. With that I get a clutch setup I want, a lightweight bellhousing, a TOB and a starter that all fit together no issues. Just got to make sure it will fit a muncie. But it's a bellhousing that fits TKO and I think if it fits TKO it fits muncie to right? I think I read that yesterday?
