T56 gets stuck only in 4th gear at 15k

T56 gets stuck only in 4th gear at 15k I just got this car and its getting stuck in gear. I have to drive around for a while before it will come loose. At 15,000 miles i have no clue what to do with it. No others gears get stuck. Just 4th

what the souce says is correct. It could be partially broken keys in the 3/4 syncro as well. If one key is broken but still in place in the syncro assembly it can get wedged and cause the transmission to get stuck in that certain gear. Eventually it will work its way back in place or the pieces will fall out allowing you get get the car back out of gear.
Get a new steel 3/4 fork with bronze pads and some billet keys. If it has had a broken key that has wedged its possible that the blocker itself on that gear has recieved some excessive wear. Depending on the year of the transmission, you may want to just do a complete rebuild to upgrade the blockers, etc.
