Default T-56 gets extremely hot...

I have recently noticed that my T-56 is getting extremely hot, and when i say hot, I mean hot enough to feel through the floorboard and in the console under the dash. My Shifter is also extremely hot, as well as my short stick. Any specific cause for this? I have never noticed it before and im more than certain the headers, Xpipe and duals arent causing it.

Had you checked the fluid level? Leaks?

Besides fluid, do you run cats that might have clogged? Those are my first two thoughts.

catless, Putting the car in the air tomorrow to check the fluid. It was fine just over 3 months ago. I couldnt see the levels dropping that rapidly... i park the car in the same spot and there isnt anything on the ground to say that i have a leak.

Its possible the exhaust is heating the trans and floor up. I would check the fluid as mentioned to see if there is an issue.
