Default McLeod Scattershield

I'm putting together parts for the T56 swap into a 91 GTA. I bought an LT1 T56 transmission and it comes with the bellhousing, but I like the idea of putting a scattershield in there. I was looking at the McLeod 8760-00 bellhousing. For the people who have this, does it come with the bellhousing bolts? if not, can I re-use the stock ones or does somebody know of an ARP part number for them? Thanks!

I've got a McLeod Scattershield for my 02 WS.6. I purchased it years ago so I don't remember the exact part number but mine did come with all the necessary bolts.

If it is an SFI approved bell, it needs class 8 or better bolts. the orig bolts won't meet that. I suspect a bolt set will come with the bell. Also, it sould have an engine plate.

I have used both and I liked the Quicktime bellhousing a lot better. It comes with the bell to block mounting hardware.

If (but probably when) I do a clutch upgrade and T56 build, I also want to go back with a scattershield. Are both the McLeod's and Quicktime's direct bolt-in for an SS/LS2 or do they require modification?

They should both bolt-in. The LS1/2 block is nearly identical on the back side.

I don't have any experience with the McLeod. But my Quicktime went back in like the stock one. Fit perfectly.

I have the Mcleod (had to cut), and my buddy has the Quicktime (didnt have to cut). Both came with the necessary pieces and both are well built.

Thanks for the answers folks, now for the final question, does it need offset dowels to align it with the transmission or do you simply bolt it in like the stock bellhousing and go?
