Spec 3 Installed

I installed my clutch this weekend with the help of a friend. He happens to work at a Volvo dealer so I got to use the lift, air tools, tranny jack. Its a fairly cut n dry job that just takes a little time. Bleeding the hydro's were fun, as brake fluid burns like hell in cuts. But hell the presurized bleeder they had made even that a little easier. Break in has begun and so far there is a bit of chatter if i dont rev it higher on take off. But i can definately tell its good n grabby.

that is good to hear....im going to put mine in as soon as i get my tranny jack....im not going to try to take that SOB out w/o it

yeah, a tranny jack is a good thing. that little sucker is a little heavy.

Good to hear you got your clutch in. I got mine installed yesterday aswell. It took alot longer than expected. It seems that every time I work on my car nothing goes as it should and that if it can go wrong it will. I love my Spec III and I haven't had any problems with chatter.

Im the same way. it always takes longer than most. one reason mine took so long was that i left the hydraulics at home and didnt realize it untill the tranny was sitting on the ground. had to burn an hour borrowing a buddys car and driving home to get it.
chatter isnt bad at all in mine, only because i forget its not stock and dont give it enough rpm. When i raise it to like 2200 and go, i dont hear a thing other than the exhaust.
