Default reverse lockout problem

My car is very hard to get into reverse. I have to use two hands. It was throwing a code for a speed sensor or something so I got underneath it and unplugged every plug in and plugged it back up and the code went away and reverse lockout worked. Well probably a couple weeks later reverse lockout starts acting up again. Back to the 2 hand deal. The fuse is fine. Is that the symptoms of just a bad solenoid.

Yeah it's the solenoid. I can't find it right now but there was a thread awhile back about taking it apart, but I would just get a new one

Do you have to go back to the dealer to get it or does auto parts stores have it and don't know what its called. Every autoparts i've called didn't have a clue.

I think the dealer is going to be your best bet
