Default 5.3 L33 w/ MN12 --- Pilot Bushing?

I'm not quite sure what pilot bushing i should get...for a 98-02 C/F or for an 04 GTO? Any thoughts? (i searched) thanks.

The crank doesn't care which one. If the trans. is a GTO box, then the smaller o.d. bushing or bearing for an 02-down F-body or 04-06 GTO will work.

The bearings like to cut into the pilot end of the input maindrive shaft.
The bronze bushing tends not to and that's what I'd use.

thanks for the info, do you think some place local in my town would have one? I want to get this in the car today but so far ive had no luck finding a pilot bushing at the local parts stores, my dad works at a dealer but that means i have to wait a few days....

Yep. Just tell them you want a bronze pilot bushing for a 1970 something Camaro.
The bearing started coming into production some time in the 90s.

i ended up finding only one, it was a bearing, i installed the engine and tranny. it was a mile-marker for this build, thanks for the help, hopefully i wont have issues with the bearing.
