Fluid Capacity/Fluid Recommendations This is the first time I've pulled the tranny. Needless to say I had to drain it, I did this the hard way as most of it ended up all over the garage floor.
I was wondering what the capacity is on the t-56, I thought I read somewhere that its 4 quarts, is this correct? Also what brand/type of fluid is used?

Redline ATF in my transmission.
Unbolt the fill plug on the drivers side of the tranny and dump all 4 quarts down the shifter opening. Bolt the fill plug back in place once the .2ish quarts finishes spilling out.
