Default clutch master cylinder

Alright so i have a monstor clutch stage 2 that just got about 1000 miles on it and recently my peddel evryonce in awile would go soft and stay at the floor. Today it was so bad i could not drive the car. From what i can tell and after reading its deff my clutch master cylinder. I see there are 2 kinds on texas speed a tick performance and ram. The rams 150 bucks less why?? Is it better to go with the tick/ worth it? Thanks

I would go with the tick hands down, its fully adjustable and eliminates the need for the drill mod.

The RAM "Adjustable" Master Cylinder is a joke. It's a stock master cylinder that they put an adjustable rod on, which allows you to adjust the dead space out of your clutch pedal, solving absolutely 0 problems with the hydraulic system.

Our Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder is built around an all-aluminum Tilton cylinder, the same ones used by NASCAR teams every Sunday. It uses a bigger bore than the factory cylinder, giving you the ability to dramatically increase the amount of fluid your system flows (when needed). You can read about many more differences here: http://www.tick-performance.com/imag...kshiftfaq.html

..and see pics of our kit here: http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...or-ls1-f-body/

Thanks for clearing this up. I'd been wondering the same thing. Guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" stands true here. Out of curiosity, does your adjustable master cylinder ever go on any sale/special?

We run quick sales from time to time, and we offer a 10% discount to all military.

Retail price on our kit used to be $339.99, so we dropped it $40 already.
