what have I gotten myself into...
pulling my T56 apart.. was leaking bad before, and the input shaft is rounded off, here is as far as I got tonight..
those damn faceplate bolts were a m'fer.. 1/2 ratchect and the jack handle and it still wasnt easy..

I just pulled my t-56 apart and expected some carnage during the tear down. Time to buy a new input shaft. Well at least you will get a new fourth gear.
I haven't put mine on the road, so I don't know how it turned out. Following the service manual will take you through the whole deal.
