Odd Grinding noise occasionally with clutch disengaged
I have a 2001 M6 Trans Am with a Monster Level 3, 18lbs flywheel, and tick MC. Sometimes when I am sitting still with the car in first and the clutch pedal pressed in, I will get a grinding noise that gets louder with engine RPM. If I take the car out of gear, release the clutch, and then press the pedal in again and put the car back in first the noise is gone. The noise doesn't happen all the time, just about once a day. The car doesn't creep sitting on a level surface in gear, even with revs the car doesn't budge until I start to engage the clutch. Any ideas about what could be happening. The T56 is stock and has about 120k on it. The clutch has about 1.5 years/15k miles on it.
