Firm clutch pedal, still possibly air?
Well I figure I'll ask in the manual transmission section. I have a thread in the lt1 section but some more opinions can't hurt.
I put a street twin in my LT1. Get it all back together, can't get into reverse, going into forward gears requires more effort than it should take.
So I've pumped the slave by hand, pumped the pedal uncountable amounts. Pedal feels nice and firm, plenty of fluid in the reservoir.
Can there still possibly be air in the system? Or is it more likely the shims are not in the right places on the street twin? It is a used setup.
The pedal feels great so can I have a pedal that feels even firmer than stock and still need more bleeding? It is a adj. master cylinder.
