Default LT1 T56 w/ early SBC Using LT1 Flywheel

Is it possible to machine the stock lt1 flywheel by re-drilling the mounting holes to fit onto a early sbc? Thus can keep everything made for the lt1 trans? Or what other flywheels will work, only found $400 dollar ones that accept the pull style?

Thanks

I think they are balanced differently and so the flywheel wont work.
